AUTHOR

Born in Vigo, Spain in 1969. Lured to photography since a young boy, guided by my father, another mountains and nature passionate.
Self made and restless traveler, I´ve been trying to capture the natural wonders leaving the enviromment untouched.
Nature photography implies respect and patience. Long hours waiting for nothing so many times, where the knowledge of the subjectc to be photographed is a crucial help.
We must bear in mind that capturing an image should cause no harm to the environment.
The images in the galeries shown here are only some of my favourites, or just those ones where a subject or a place was best captured.

CURRICULUM

Some of my photographs were among colective expositions localy and nationaly. Others ilustrated articles in magazines, books, newspapers, text books and creative media printed in Spain, France, United Kindom, Germany, Holand, Hungary and USA. About competitions these are my best achievements:

First place in Fotonatura 2001 contest organized by NATURA magazine, finalist in 1999, 2000 y 2002 editions.

Second place in the mountain photography contest organized by CELTAS mountain club in 2004, finalist in 2005.

Finalist in the collections category of the environmental photography contest of Colmenar Viejo in 2001.

Finalist of the Girona´s naturalists association (ANG) contest in 2000 and 2004.

First place of the contest by NATUREZA GALEGA magazine in 1997.

Finalist in 1997, 1998 and 2005 editions of the magazine RUTAS DEL MUNDO travel contest.

Specialy commended on the international Memorial María Luisa in 2006 and semifinalist in 2003.

Commended on the Fundación Oxígeno contest 2005.

Finalist in the international contest Europäischer Naturfotograf des Jahres 2003 and 2004.

Semi-finalist in the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2003 and 2004.

Finalist in Glanzlichter 2004, 2005 and 2006.
